Next Step in County Aging Initiative 


(rescheduled from January 23)

the Alameda County Board of Supervisors' Joint Health & Social Services Committee will hear the proposed bylaws and ordinance to create an Alameda County Council for Age Friendly Communities. As the drafts are currently written, the Council will be charged with coordinating policy and systems change efforts to improve health and social outcomes for older adults, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and sustain a community framework that fosters healthy aging.
